Trevor,

today is your very first day of pre-school!

You are excited (which makes mommy

feel better) to start this new chapter in

your life. You haven't been able to sleep at

night your so excited. You are just like your

mommy and love to sleep, (I'm not gonna lie,

I don't know how I'm gonna have us up and

around by 8am!) but this morning I came in

your room to wake you up and you said

"Is it my first day of school right now?" I told

you yes and you just hopped right up out of

bed!! Really, Ive never seen you get around

so fast. I hope the rest of the year continues

this way. :) Mommy and bubba walked you into

class and got you all situated. I've never just

dropped you off somewhere and left you,

other than family members houses so I didn't

know what to do?! I still know a lot of people

who work in the nursery so I thought I'd wonder

over there for a minute. While I was visiting with

a friend, Cruz walked out of the hallway doors

. I went to get him and found him wondering

around calling out "bubba". I picked him up and

he looked at me with a puzzled look and ask
"where bubba go?" Neither one of us knows
what to do with ourselves!! But, we sucked
it up, finally left the school and said a prayer
for you, (even though Cruz and I were the ones
we should have prayed for) Can't wait to pick
you up everyday after school and see what you
did that day!! Your so social, outgoing and smart
I know your going to do great.
We love you so much. Now get to work Einstein!

Aubrie Noelle Nash

My niece Aubrie was born July 29th. Being the

amateur photographer that I am, I snapped a

few of pics of her when she was 3 weeks old.

This is the only edited one due to my lightroom

being down! :( I'll edited some and post more

later. She is just an adorable baby!! So

excited she is finally here!!

Meet the teacher

God is soo good!! Trevor is starting

Shiloh Christan pre-school!!! I

wasn't sure if we were gonna be

able to swing but God made it

all work out!! When we decided

it was something we were gonna

be able to do, it was the week before

school started. I went ahead and

called the school expecting to be

put on a waiting list. The man that

I spoke with was amazing. He informed

me that he thought they had 1 spot left

open. We filled out our application that

afternoon. He called back and said he

found a spot for Trevor and that orientation

was that evening and we should try and make it.

I cancelled my appointments for the night

and John and I headed to the church!! I was

so exited about this new adventure!! That

night I was reassured we made the right choice

to send Trev there and that is also where God

wanted Trev!! We found out that night who

Trevor would have for teacher. He has Mrs.

George!! One of the sweetest women I know.

We kept her boys in the nursery at church when

they were babies!! I could not be happier!!

The next morning Trev got to meet his teacher.

Trev didn't have to wear his backpack

but he insisted!! He was in school

mode!! He looked like such a big

boy all packed up and ready!!

Mrs. George had a piece of paper set out

and a tray full of alphabet stickers. The kids

had to find the letters in their name and

spell it out on the paper.

WOW!! I can't believe we are doing this!!

When I held Trev in my arms for the very

first time, all this seemed so far away!!

But the time has gone by really fast

and here we are!! Ready for school.

Trev is REALLY excited and ready to

start school and daddy and I are excited

to see our sweet boy grow over this

next year!! So many fun things in store!!

After making T's name we looked around the room

at the fun things he was going to get to do there. Mrs.

George has a reading center so we sat down and

read a book together.

Trev made a friend there and they played some games

that were out together. He is going to have the time

of his life. First day of school, next Wednesday!!

The entire family and friends enjoyed Trev

playing ball. Trevor had a blast!! He

said he wants to play ball again and is

very sad season is over. He told me

"well mom, now I'm ready for soccer

to start" with a big grin on his face!!

I felt like i lived at the ball fields

but I think that is something i just better

get use to. Having two boys, we might

as well plan on moving into the concession

stand!! Blessed beyond belief!!!!

Cruz's lip gloss massacre

It got a little too quite around my house. I went

looking for my Cruz and found him here!! Going

through mommy's purse ( one of his favorite things

to do) and found her lip gloss! All I could do

was laugh and grab the camera!! I mean, look at

that adorable face!! How am I suppose to get

mad at that??!!

This one is my favorite!! He just looks so proud

of himself. This kiddo keeps me on my toes!!

His nickname is Dennis the Menace or Mayhem.

But I wouldn't change his little personality for

the world. Not a day goes by that he doesn't

make me break out in a sweat and laugh

until I cry!

Happy Fourth of July

took the boys to watch fireworks at our

church! I love love the fourth of July.

They boys get so excited to see fireworks.

boys ever!!! Didn't get many pics. Got to

The next night was time to do the annual firework

show at the castleberry's!! Look how happy Cruz is.

He really got into the fireworks this year. It was so

cute to see his expressions!!

My 2 favorite little guys!! I'm blessed beyond belief!!

Trev's fav are the fireworks that shoot out the army

man on a parachute. He loves to chase it down so

he can catch it!! Something he really looks forward to

every year!!

I bought all the kids an American flag to wave

around. Cruz loved it and still won't give it

up. He swung that thing around all night long!!

God Bless America!!

It was a great hit!! So proud buddy!

that was behind Trev was the oldest on

the team and caught up to Trev very

quickly running the bases. It was so

funny. It happened to whole game.

LOL Little Trev was running as fast

as he could and Parker would come

right up on him. Super funny.

What a stud. The ump thought Trev

was the coolest kid ever. Look at

the smile he's giving Trev. Trevor

refused to wear to his hat the

right way for over half the season.

He said "It isn't cool to wear your

hat like that". "You either wear it

over on this side, or this side".

"Just like teenagers do it mom!"

So, I told the coach it was his call

on which way he should wear his hat.

Sports are teaching the kids respect

and discipline at this age and didn't

want to miss out on that. Coach didn't

care so Trev wore his hat either cocked

to one side or the other, or wore it

backwards. Love this kid!!

Good job team!!

Tee ball for this age has to be the funniest thing

you will ever watch in your life. I loved every

single hysterical moment. Can't wait for all his

other games!! Even if it is 100 degrees outside. :)

Some friends came to watch his game and ran out

on the field for a five from the players. Trev

thought he was so cool!!! He had a blast at his

first game!! Great experience!!

But it was really hard work playing ball in that

heat!!

And it was really hard work making mommy chase

me around all day!! It's hard to be a kid!!

I had so much fun but think I need to bring a

baby sitter with me next time. Keeping up

with Cruz, taking pictures of the game and

trying to watch the game was a bit of a

challenge!! I'm sore I'll have it down

to and art by the time the season is over!!

ok, so I always said I would never put my

kid on a "leash". well, God taught me my

lesson when he gave me Cruz. After chasing

him off the field a hundred times during

the games, eating bird poop, getting hit in the

head with a soccer ball, and the constant

breaking out of my arms to get down and

sprint across the field, the "leash" didn't

look so bad anymore!!!

I think i'm way more excited than Trev even

Trevor 5th birthday!

Happy Birthday sweet baby!!!

April 16th. My baby Trevor's birthday. We asked

Trevor what he wanted to do on his birthday this

year. It happen to land on the Arkansas Razorback

red/white game. So Trevor requested to go out to

eat at the "peanut place" (Logan's) and then

head to the red/white game!! It's his day so

off we go!! :)

Trevor was super excited to be at the Razorback

football game!! This is him at hog stadium.

Trevor's friend Lilly came to celebrate and

watch the game with us!!

Call those hogs!!!

Felix Jones and Darren Mcfadden came to the game.

We couldn't find Darren but we found Felix!! We

are also big Cowboys fans so this was perfect!!

We asked Felix if we could get a birthday pic with

him and he was super cool with it!! Made Trev's

day!!!

Our friend Ben Cleveland (a former Razorback)

came to celebrate with Trev too!! The boys

love Ben!!

Trevor's 5th super hero birthday party!!!!

Sweet Trevor loves him some super heroes and

he also loves to dress up in costumes. So,
for his 5th birthday i thought why not just
combine his favorite things and have a
super hero costume party. I thought the gym
would be the perfect place for a

superhero to do their favorite superhero moves!!

Trev's cousin Tryston has a birthday a
couple weeks before Trev so my sister and
I combined forces tohave the coolest
superhero party ever!!!

All our little superheros loved the foam pit!!

Even my little captain america couldn't get enough of it.

My adorable niece Trynity as bat girl!! And the cutest

bat girl I've ever seen!!

It's hard work trying to save the universe!!!

My sweet silly Cruzy!! He couldn't be thrown in the

pit enough!! I need one of these at home!!! lol

The super hero table was amazing!!

I used comic books as in inspiration.

I took the boys to Shelby Lynn's cake shoppe in
springdale to let them pick out their own individual
cakes. Trevor choose a captain America cake!!
They did such a great job. It turned out perfect and
Trev was really excited about it!!

Tryston choose a batman cake!! Very cool.

We ordered cupcakes for the kiddos. We had batman,

captain America and superman for the choose from.

For the kiddos party favor we had all kinds of
different candy they could choose from
to take home in a cool superhero bag. We
gaveeach candy it's own name that went with
our superhero theme.

For example, star burst were "super burst"

sour punch straws were "power punch"

we had superhero tattoos called "bat tats".

It was so much fun.

Each candy had it's own name in a burst shape

just like in the comic books!!!

For the kids table I took a comic book
apart, taped it together and had it laminated
for our table runner!! It turned out so cute
and was probably my favorite part on the table!!
We used primary super hero colors for

plates and forks and had different super
hero napkins.

For the middle of the table I filled clear jars with all
Trevor's super hero figures. Then I took
Trevor's hulk hands and tied balloon's around the thumb!!
The kids loved the big hulk hands and had fun finding
their favorite super heroes in the jar.

and Trevor is 5!!!

Tryston didn't enjoy everyone singing Happy Birthday

to him so he just hid under the table!! Silly boy. I

didn't get hardly any pics of him!! lol

Trev on the other hand was just fine with it. He couldn't

stop staring at his cake. He was ready to dig in!!

I love this kid soooo much!!!

We are licking our lips ready to DIVE in to this cake!!

He was so funny!!

All the kiddos eating their cupcakes!! They were having

a great time!!!

Keegan and Cruz were cupcake monsters!! They had

icing all over them. Uncle David was very brave to hold

them BOTH while they were eating a cupcake!!

We wanted the kids to have as much playing time in the

gym possible since you only rent it out for a short period

of time. So we decided to take presents home and open

them there. That gave us an extra 15 min to play!!

It's just chaos when you have 15 kids trying

"help" anyways. It was much calmer this way! lol

Even Cruz enjoyed bubba's presents!!

The party was a huge hit!!! Tryston and Trevor had so

much fun with all their super hero friends. Now, what to

do next year.....

Life Lessons

Lately, my sweet baby Trevor has turned

into a klepto. It all started out very innocently,

or so I thought, a few months ago. Trev

would come home from Mimi's with some

little something in his pocket. I just thought

at some point of playing during the day he

stuck it in there and forgot about it. He is my

child after all. But then he went over for a

play date with his cousins and came back

with something of theirs in his pocket.

Trev is the one who brought it to my

attention so we returned the toy the

next day and I once again just blew it

off.

John went out of town last week so

my sister and I decided to take the kids

and go eat at Grubs. Yummy!!! We had the

best time. The kids were drawing pictures

handing them out to the servers, the boys

were really gettin their flirt on, we watched

the draft and american idol but then the kids

became restless and it was time to go. We get

them all to the car and started out of the parking

lot. I heard Trevor say something about cutting

or tearing (cant' remember) a piece of paper

in half so I look back at him only to see he

had stolen a fork from the restaurant. We

held hands out to the car and he wasn't

carrying it in his hands so I knew he had

stuck it in his pocket to take home.

My thought at first was to take him home and

deal with it when we got there (actually it

was- really.., a fork?) but then the good fairy

appeared on my shoulder, thank God for

her, and reminded me this would be a

great lesson to teach him!!

I turned around and headed back to the restaurant

letting Trev know what we he was about to do.

I'm going on and on with my mom spill about how

stealing is wrong and unacceptable etc, etc.... until

we arrived in the parking lot. And to my advantage

there sat a police car not to far from us. My sister

who was finding all of this pretty funny said

to Trevor " Trevor, I hope that police officer

doesn't take you to jail for stealing." Trev

didn't want to get out of his seat after that!!

He kept telling me to take the fork back

so I had to remove him from his carseat and

carry in myself.

When we walked through the doors the manager

was standing right there and guess who he was

talking to? The police officer!!! Trev's eyes

got soo big when he saw this. Ive never seen

him so freaked out. I walked up to the manager

and said "sir, my son has stolen a fork from

your restaurant and we are here to return

it and apologize." I made Trev hand over

the fork and then I asked him to tell him

he was sorry. He just looked at the manager,

eyes as big as saucers then his little lip started

to quiver. He buried his head in my shoulder

and began to cry. Everyone who had been

standing there were all giggling, along

with the police officer and myself. I

put his head up and asked him again

to apologize which he did then buried

his face in my shoulder once more. As

we were walking out the officer looked

at me (with a straight face this time) and

said "That was a great lesson you just

taught him." I replied "thanks, I'm working

hard with him so you will never have to!!"

Tough love is always hard for me but I think

it will pay off in the end!!! It's paying off now

even, Trev is a great kid and I'm so blessed

to have him and Cruz in my life!!! And I don't

think you will ever read another story about

my ~~klepto~~ ex klepto child......

M.I.A

The Castleberry's have been M.I.A for

awhile!! There have been so many

things going on. Cruz got sick a

couple weeks ago so we were at

the doctor saturday and then

again on monday!! After a chest

x-ray, which our not fun at all

by the way, we discovered he had

bronchitis!! Poor little guy. Sunday

he ran fever and I couldn't get it to

break. It was up to 103. I was so

super worried and we debated

taking him to the hospital.

Luckily I do my pediatrician's family's

hair so I gave him a call! After asking

us a few questions he informed us

the fever wasn't a reason to rush

him to the E.R but he did want to

see him the following day!! I want to

give a shout out to Dr. Lovell for

squeezing us in and taking care of

my sweet sick baby!! Once we got

started on our RX we were on the

road to recovery....but not so fast!

Trev starts running fever and coughing

like crazy. So Wednesday we go back

to the doctor. Had Trev man all checked

out and put him on a RX. He ran fever

until Sunday night. One of my prayers

to God that week went something kinda

like this:

God, please lay your healing hands on my

babies and take their sickness away.

God please give me energy so I can be

the best mom I can be.

God, please give me wisdom and knowledge

so I know how to take care of my babies

to the best of my ability.

God, please give me a good attitude. I set

the tone for the house and I want

to set a good relaxed tone.

God please give me patience so I don't

walk in and admit myself into a mental

institution!!!

I know God has a sense of humor. On a good
note, Trev has started soccer practice and
has his first game saturday April 9th. So
excited the season has kicked off. I love
watching him out there having fun!!
I finally broke down and bought a "leash"
for Cruz. He runs all over the place during
the games and practices.
All I get done is chasing him around!!
Monday he even ate bird poop. I had my
eyes off him for a few seconds to watch
Trev's turn and when I turned around he
was attempting to spit it out. He had
bird poop in his mouth on his hands....it
was just gross, but kinda funny if you
knew my little Dennis the Mennis!!!
So I thought if I wanted to be able to watch
Trev's game at all then I was gonna have to
pin him up somehow!! We'll see how it goes.
I'm sure he will still manage to get into
some kind of mischief!!

Enjoying the sunshine!! It was

finally warm enough outside

to hang outdoors ALL DAY!!

We totally took advantage of

these nice days!!!

I think this pic of Tryston is adorable!

He is so very handsome.

I'm not sure why every time my kiddos

play outside they feel the need to

strip!! They are always in their undies

at my house. This particular day they

stripped down and played with the

water guns and got very dirty!! So,

it was our first bath in the water

hose for the year!! Might be our first

but definitely not our last!!

Our friends Fawaad and Julie came over

with their little ashur bug for dinner.

Ashur loves playing with the boys!!

He is so much fun and fits right in at

my rowdy little boy house. He acts just

like my two!!!

Aunt Feffy's baby shower

My sweet baby sister is prego with her first

sweet little baby (and my third baby)! She is

having a little boy and naming him

Beckham Rylee. I love love it and can't

wait to meet him!! I have already informed

them that I have joint custody!! We threw

her a beautiful baby shower where she received

the sweetest gifts!!! Beckham, get here quick

buddy so we can give you all the hugs and kisses

in the whole world!!!

SLEEP OVER!!!!

Tryston and Trynity came to our house for a

sleep over. Well, I'm not sure why we call it

that because they did everything but sleep!!

They were still up goofing around at 11:00!!

I couldn't get them to settle down, well maybe

i didn't try to hard. I thought they were cute

playing and having fun and I remember being

the same way when I was their age so I

encouraged them to go to sleep but....they

weren't real interested in listening to what

I had to say!!!!! Ha Ha

I only snapped a few pics of the kids when they

were over but here they are

We have to trap poor little Cruz in his

high chair when we get ready so he

doesn't destroy something or himself.

This particular morning he just couldn't

keep his little eyes open anymore!! Mommy

just leaned the highchair back and let him

snooze! He looks so sweet and beautiful when

he sleeps!! Love this boy to death!!

Funny Trevor

So, Trevor is one of the Funniest kids ever!! The things he

comes up with to say are just hysterical. I have a journal I

write them down in but I decided to just post them on their blog

for everyone to laugh at!! It will put a smile on the faces

of anyone having a terrible, horrible, no good very bad day!!

Well the other day Trev had taken a shower and of course

got out wrapped up in his towel and was saying "mom,

I'm freezing, I need some clothes to put on!" So I replied

"OK, I will get you some clothes" "What would you like to wear

today?" He sat there for a second deep in thought and says

"Oh, it doesn't matter, just nothing too sexy."

I just played along and said "okay, I understand."

Anyone who knows Trev knows he Loves Michael Jackson.

His Mimi has the music video for Thriller, Beat it, and Billie Jean.

Trev and his cousins watch the videos and sing and dance along

all the time. They are super cute trying to do all the

moves MJ does. So when I saw the MJ movie "This is it" on t.v

I recorded it for Trev to watch. He woke up from his nap and I said

"Bubba, I recorded something cool for you to watch!" His

face lit up like a Christmas tree and said "what is it?" I started up

the movie and when MJ came on t.v I thought he would go nuts

but he just stood there looking puzzled. I said "Trev, it's

Michael Jackson." He said "Ummm, No it's not." I replied

"Yeah it is buddy." He said "well, I don't like this Michael Jackson."

I reply with "It's the same Michael Jackson you always watch, the

one who does Thriller and Beat it!" He just stood there for a minute

looking at the t.v very confused then suddenly, he had a light

bulb moment and says " oh, he must have just spilled milk all over

him." He said that because from the videos that he watches

of MJ to the movie of the concert he would have done his skin

disorder made him appear white. Trev was very confused about

why MJ wasn't black like in his Thriller video. So I explained

he had the skin disorder and what it does to someones skin when

they have it but when your 4 years old I think spilling milk all

over yourself just makes more sense!!!

Trev had his cousins spend the night last weekend. I don't

like them watching t.v all the time so I usually just turn

it off and pop in some tunes. They were going crazy

dancing all around the living room. They were trying

to do hip hop and some break dancing. So funny!!

All the sudden Trev looks at me with a little smirk

on his face and says "I want to take dance class

with all the girls mom!" I said "why do you want to

dance class with all the girls Trev?" thinking he would

say I like to dance or maybe even I want to learn

how to dance good. NO, he says "Cuz I like all

the girls!" Oh man, I am in TROUBLE!

Holy snowballs

NWA received 20 inches or more snow this week.

I've never seen so much snow here!! I kept

thinking to myself the snow would swallow little

Cruz up!! So outside for a few pics we went!!

The boys thought is was so cool.....at first anyway!!!

Baby Cruz kept kinda picking at it. He was so

interested at first. Trev just loved it and had

a hard time sitting still for pics. He was itching

to throw a snowball at momma and daddy!!

The next few pictures tell a funny story.....

Cruz somehow took one of his gloves off.

After Daddy took Cruz inside, Trev and I stayed

outside and played for a long time!!

We had a great time!! We made trails in the snow,

he even got in the swings for a bit (after digging

them out of the snow) we checked on some

neighbors and ate lots of snow!!!

Momma and Daddy made the boys snow ice cream!!

Cruz thought it was so good I caught him doing

this after I took his empty bowl away....

He was licking up some ice cream he had spilled

on his tray!!!

Snow ice cream recipe:

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 cups of sugar

1 cup milk

and around 6 or so cups of snow!!!!

Mix vanilla, milk, and sugar together until

sugar in dissolved. Then slowly add snow

stirring constantly until thick like ice cream.

Trevor begged mommy to make him chocolate gravy

for breakfast last saturday. Your not southern if you've

never had ya some chocolate gravy!! It's the boys favorite

thing to eat for breakfast....it's messy, tasty, and very

unhealthy!! A kids dream!!!

Why use a spoon when you have hands??

Snow day

Bundled up ready for our first sledding adventure!!!

We don't have snow suits for the year so we

improvised. A lot of layers on

Steffany had a hard time getting her socks and shoes

on because of all her clothes and her little baby belly.

If Randy hadnt come to the rescue,she might

still be sitting there.......trying to get those

shoes on her feet.

Trev's first time down the hill!!

He was so excited to go sledding

he could hardly contain his little self.

He LOVED it!!

That smile is so sweet.

The snow was too powdery so we had to

sled in the street. It was great but you would

hit a dry spot every once in a while. Randy

had to give Trev an extra little shove to get

him to the bottom of the hill!!!

Here comes Cruzer Brusier. As much of a

dare devil as he his I thought he would enjoy it

a little more than he did but he was also very

very sleepy and was wanting a nap. We let him

sled a couple of times then Feffy took him to the

truck to warm them both up!! It was so cold!!

Then Trev played in the snow for a little bit.

This was actually Christmas Eve night but I thought the

picture was adorable!!!!

Trev beat everyone up in the morning and ran in our

room shouting "Mom, Mom...come in here!!" "Your

not gonna believe this." "Santa came and brought me

a police car!! Hurry hurry, come look!!!"

He was so super excited!! I was a little disappointed

I didn't see the initial reaction. Its the first year we've

missed it but it was still so cute to wake up to him

running in our room waking us up so happy.

Priceless!!

Then bubba woke up!!! He was adorable. The funny

thing was even though he doesn't fully understand

Santa yet, he knew something exciting was going

on and fed off Trev's energy. He was screamin

(good screams) and jabbering away. The

kid was pumped up. I don't think he knew what

he was pumped about but he was pumped up!

He ran in the living room to see all of Santa's gifts

and just stood there for a minute like WOW!!!!

Didn't last long though. He was quickly in his new

ball pit throwing balls everywhere.

LOVES his slide. Probably his favorite gift of all.

He did really good for a while then became brave

and jumped off the top. Face plant!!!! Such a

little dare devil!!

Trev got a couple of nerf guns so he and

daddy can shoot each other!! There was a war in the

house most the morning!!

Cruz had a blast with all his new toys but also really liked

bubba's police car. He sat in that thing forever just laughing

and playing with Trev. I've got great video!!!!

There are soooo many more pictures I just thought I

would post a few for now and maybe another day

post some more!! A couple other things I remember

about the morning was Cruz somehow managed

to fall out of his high chair. I was cooking and heard

a noise and looked over just in time to see arms

and legs flying in the air. How that kid manages

to do some of the things he does.....

Not but 5 minutes later Trev tries to get his stocking

off the fireplace mantle and knocks the stocking

holder off almost hitting himself in the head. That

would have been a Christmas ER trip for stitches!!

That thing is heavy!!! Never a dull moment with

kiddos around!!

All in all Christmas was a magical as it usually is.

Thank GOD for everything he has done for

us!!!!

My baby sister Steffany found out the

sex of her baby and this is how she told

us. She and her husband tied balloons on

everyone in the family cars or mailboxes

so when we got out to go to work we

would see our surprise!! Very clever guys!!!

Right choices corn maze......really late!!!

Back in October the family took a day trip to Right Choices

Corn Maze located in Mo. It's a Castleberry family tradition

to visit the farm every year. The whole family enjoys it. We

usually spend the entire day there and never run out of things

to do. If you live close enough to visit the maze, I highly recommend

doing so!!

sack slide. Mommy didn't move quite as fast down

the slide as the little guys do. So I gave a good shove

every now and then. Cruz loved it! I had to go several

times!! I love having kids. They give us adults an excuse to

do things with them that we other wise would look completely

retarded doing by ourselves.

Trev man went fast! He went down the slide

bunches too. You just can't get enough of

this thing.

Me and my sweet pea. He is sooo much fun. He ran around

the farm all day keeping up with the big kids. He is just so

cute and little you don't expect him to run as fast as he does.

People were stopping to watch him run around and would

ask us "how old is he?" They were so surprised he was

only 12 months old!!

The annual hay ride!!!

I remember taking the boys last year so well. Cruz was

only 3 weeks old. He loved the hayride and slept the

whole way. It was so sweet and relaxing. This year I have

to admit I was a little nervous about my very busy little Cruz

on a hayride. To my surprise he did very well. All the kids

enjoyed riding around the farm going through the woods,

by the river and next to the corn maze.

it would. About half way through little man gave it up.

Perfect time for a nap!! I could have fallen asleep myself.

The kids went exploring in the cave. So much fun!!

What a princess! They farm has a little hay tunnel

the kids love to run through. Makes for a great

game of tag.

And the day would not complete without riding

the ponies.

Trevor rides Daisy every year!!!! He for some

reason loves her.

This is Cruz's first pony ride. He loved it. I was trying to make

him act like he was riding a wild horse. I threw his arm up in

the air and we were counting to 8.

I love this picture of Trevor and I. The background is

beautiful. We were on top of a "hay mountain." You can

run up one side and down the other and we were wrestling

with each other to get first place and fell down. So

glad mimi was there to get a pic of it!!!

I love this pic. We were trying to get a pic of all the kids

but Ethan and Cruz got up at the same time the same way.

This was as good as we were gonna get.

Cruz had a blast in the pumpkin patch and tried picking

up every pumpkin he could get his hands on.

Trevor wanted to find the perfect pumpkin so it took FOREVER

to find it. He would find one and choose it then he would spot

a better one. It was hysterical.

Me and my boys!!!

My friends and I had a GNO or a G&KNO!!

We were all husbandless and decided to load

up and take the kids to see the lighting of the

square. It was a girls and kids night out!!

My sweet sister Whittney and my beautiful

niece Trynity!!

He had a good time watching the parade!!!!

My adorable Cruzy!! He had fun the whole

night. From the parade to watching all the

other kids there. He just soaked it all in!!

And of course my sweet little Trev is always up

for a good time. He loves parades and people and

especially Santa!!

We found the perfect spot to watch the parade. It was

super windy that night so we parked the strollers up by

a building with an awning to block the wind. It sat up

on some stairs so the kids could see over everyone.

It was perfect!!!

My good friend Amanda and one of her

little girls Cece. She is the cutest little girl

and I have asked if I can have her but no

luck so far...maybe one day!

The line to see Santa was WAY too long so

we opted to just walk beside him so the kids

could at least get a good look. Funny Trev story...

When we got up beside Santa, Trev yelled "Santa!"so

loud that everyone around us heard him, including Santa.

Santa looked over at him and chuckled then asked

him if he had been a good boy this year to which Trev

replies yes! Santa asked Trev what he wanted for

Christmas. Trev told him a cool game and then we

said our good byes. He was so happy that he had

spoken to Santa and smiled from ear to ear the rest

of the night.

The square was super busy and we were super

hungry so we went to Mariachis for dinner.

The funniest part of the night was Lilly!! We were all

hanging out visiting when all the sudden Amanda says

"Lilly, what are you doing?"

Lilly had stuck her rice and beans in her salsa and was

just stirring away with her hands. I thought it was hysterical

but her mom....not so much!

We all had a great G&KNO and hope to do

it again soon!!

Christmas meets Halloween

The Santa picture story:

T had asked to go see Santa one day while we were

at the mall. I replied with "not today bubba, I am

going to dress you and your brother up and come

back so we can get your picture with Santa."

So, a week goes by and the day arrives to go see the

big man. I had laid out the boys their skinny jeans,

cute little Gap sweaters and their converse. I started

to dress the boys and T says, "MOM!" you told me we

were going to get dressed up to go see Santa?" I said "we

are baby, that's what were doing." He replies with "I was

going to dress up in my spiderman costume."

I mean, what are you supposed to say to that. He

totally thought when I said dress up I meant dress

them up in a costume. I tried a little coaxing to get

him to wear the sweater and skinnys but he really had

his heart set on wearing spiderman so I went with it.

I put Cruz in Trev's baby Jack Jack costume he wore for

his first Halloween, T put his spiderman costume on

and we headed to the mall. Needless to say we were the

only people dressed for Halloween in line to go see Santa

but man, we will look back in a few years and laugh so

hard at this picture. What a great memory!!!!

Merry CHRISTmas!!!!

Friday night Santa Claus arrived at the NWA mall.

What better way to kick off the holiday season by

watching Santa arrive in his sleigh?

We had some good friends of ours, Rowan and Grayre

come over to hang out friday night so we loaded all

the boys up and headed to the mall.

Before Santa arrived we were entertained

by a Dance company. They preformed the nutcracker

along with several other performances. The boys

were entertained initially but soon started asking

"where is Santa Claus"? They came for one reason

and one reason only, to see the big man for themselves!

Here is little Grayre bear watching the

dancers. He had so much fun and was

such a good boy.

Trev was so excited to hang out with his

friends. He had a great time but was very

anxious to see Santa. While the dancers were

preforming he yells "where is Santa Claus,

when is he coming"? After a nice little chat

about being respectful while someone is

preforming, he seemed to settle down a bit.

He really is such a funny boy!!

I told the boys to scoot together so I could

snap a pic. Rowan leaned in on Trev and knocked

him over so T was saying "ouch" in this pic. I think

its funny!!! I love how Grayre is looking at them

like ????

After the performances, a man read us

Twas the night before Christmas

The kids loved this part. They were so still

during the story!!! First time for everything.

lol

Even baby Cruz enjoyed it.....

but it made him very sleepy!!!!

The boys kept watching for Santa on the roof

of the mall. It was adorable!!!

Trev was pretty sure he spotted him.

"Look, look guys. There he is"! he kept

saying!!

And here is Mr. Claus himself. All the boys

were so excited. Trev kept screaming in

typical Trevor fashion and Grayre kept saying

"there is Santa" and Rowan just stood in amazement.

As Santa came by the boys on his sleigh,

he waved to them all. Of course the were

all waving right back!!! They've gotta make

sure to get on that nice list.

That was definitely their favorite part. Seeing

how excited they were to get a wave from

Santa was precious. It totally made my night!!!

We then came back to the house to play.

Rowan is so awesome!! He would

I turned on some super hero music

and he can play an air guitar like no body's

business. He was so fun!!!!

Baby Cruz had fun trying to keep up with the

big boys. He ran around behind them trying to

do everything they were doing. He crashed hard

that night.

over. They all played very well together and had

On Sunday after church, Trev and I baked		cookies	together!!

My post got all messed up somehow so hang

in there with me!! Saturday we went to a friend

of ours little boys first birthday party. Cruz got his

first pinata experience and loved it. He just laughed

every time he swung the bat. They were all so cute!

Trev busted the pinata so he got to take the bat he

busted the pinata with home. Very Cool!!

Saturday we had friends over to watch the HOGS

play!! The boys played and had a great time as

you can see in the pic. lol

They really were having a good time in

this picture!!! They are so cute!!!!

Cruz is Mr. Independent!! He has to feed

himself or he won't eat!! He is a little stinker.

Here he had his macaroni EVERYWHERE!!!

But he's still adorable as a macaroni monster!!!

Cruz also learned to brush his teeth this week.

Mommy does a quick brush first, then puts more

toothpaste on the brush and lets him brush away!

He really did a great job and was so proud of

himself!! I can't believe how big he is getting!! It's

happening so fast.

Good job baby!!!!

Sweet baby boy

Trevor fixed his hair all by himself this week

too. I was leaving to go to mimi's and started

looking for Trev. He said "I'm in here mommy

fixing my hair". I thought oh lord,what has he

done? When I got to the bathroom he had daddy's

paste out with a lot in his hair, on his forehead and

all over his hands just smiling so big!! He was proud

of himself for being such a big boy and fixing it all

by himself. It was a really cute moment for me!!!

This was earlier that morning. He pretty

much fixed his own sandwich that day!!

He only had minor help from mom!!! He

has really enjoyed doing things on his own

lately. He normally just likes for mommy to

do most things for him so it's something we've

been working on and he his doing a great job!!

My sweet busy Cruz!!! He just goes and goes

and then crashes!!! I was finishing up my hair

one morning and stuck him in the exersaucer to

prevent another morning Cruz disaster. I looked

back to check on him and he was passed out!!!

Crock pot recipes

3-Cheese Chicken & Noodles

3 cups cooked chopped chicken
1 1/2 cups cottage cheese
1 can (10 3/4 ounces) condensed cream of chicken soup
1 (8 ounce) package wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 cup monterey jack cheese
1/2 cup chicken broth
1/2 diced celery
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 can (4 ounces) sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

Combine all ingrediants into slow cooker. Stir to

coat evenly. Cover and cook on LOW 6-10

hours or on HIGH 3-4

Chicken Tortilla Soup

4 boneless skinless chicken thighs
2 cans diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilis, drained
1/2 to 1 cup chicken broth
1 yellow onion, diced
2 cloves of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
4 corn tortillas, sliced into 1/4 inch strips and baked until crisp
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
1/2 shredded monterey jack cheese
1 avocado, peeled, diced and tossed with lime juice to prevent browning
lime wedges
Salt and Pepper to taste

1. Place chicken in slow cooker. Combine tomatoes with juice,

chilies,1/2 cup broth, onion, garlic and cumin in small bowl.

Place over chicken mixture

2. Cover; cook on LOW 6 hours or on HIGH 3 hours, or until chicken

is tender. Remove chicken from slow cooker and shred with 2 forks.

Return to cooking liquid. Adjust seasonings, adding salt and pepper

and more broth if necessary.

3. Just before serving, add tortillas and cilantro to slow cooker. Stir

to blend. Serve in soup bowls, topping each serving with cheese

avocado and a squeeze of lime juice.

This is an entire month late but better late

than never right?

My sweet baby turned 1!!! Holy Cow!! You

have grown into your fun personality

and we just love you!! You put such a

smile on our faces everyday!! For your

birthday, I decorated the house with

streamers and balloons for you so when

you woke up in the morning you would

feel so special!! You loved running through

the steamers hanging from the door way.

I also took you to Boingo Bounce

with your cousins. You are all for being

able to just run around so you loved

it!! We went to McDonald's for lunch because

you love their cheeseburgers. After you took your

2 hour nap we just hung out and played for

awhile. For dinner we fed you macaroni and

cheese, your favorite! I didn't want to feed

you cake before your birthday party so we

opted for ice cream instead. We went to Shakes

with the whole family and stuck a candle in your

ice cream and sang happy birthday to you in the

middle of Shakes. It was so much fun and you

loved everyone singing to you!! We had the best

day with you little man.

Mommy and Daddy love you sooooo much and

have had so much fun with you this past year.

Watching you hit so many milestones has just

been amazing!! Your so much fun and your so

sweet I could hug & kiss you all day long.

Your a precious little baby and we can't wait for all the

memories we'll make with you in this next year.

I can't believe my little Cruz is a whole

year old. I feel like I brought him home

yesterday. To get ready for his BIG FIRST

BIRTHDAY, I took him out for a little photo

he came out of the womb, but he did a

have a sucker in his mouth, he would throw and absolute
fit. You pick your battles right? So we opted for a drooly sticky baby
instead of an upset baby!! After all, it was his first Halloween!

Love this sweet face

I carried a backpack around equipped with diapers,
wipes, Kleenex, and a blanket. The kids were getting
so much candy Trev and Trynity dumped their
candy in the backpack to they had more room in
their buckets!! They were so funny!!! There is no way
they will ever eat all that candy but it was so much
fun getting it.

I think my niece is just beautiful!!!!

They got startled at this house!! When they got
to the door there was a witch that laughed and
talked and freaked them out, but not enough
for them to leave the porch and not get their candy!!

Ghost Popsicle

Ghost Popsicles!!

Take a banana and cut it in half

Place a Popsicle stick in the bottom of the banana leaving the top part of the banana for the ghost head
Wrap banana in cling wrap and freeze for 3-4 hours
After bananas are frozen, melt white chocolate candy in microwave
Cover banana in white chocolate
place candy on banana to create the ghost face

I should have posted this a lot earlier so sorry...
it's a good idea for next Halloween!!!

I love this idea because I don't feel guilty letting
them eat it. I always make the kids fun treats
for every holiday so I'm trying to find recipes
that are fun and yummy but a lot healthier for them.

I got down Trevors first Halloween costume for
my little Keegan to borrow. Trevor thought it
would still fit and just had to try it on. It actually
fit better than I thought it would.

Cruz usually loves to ride on the tractor with
us while we mow but I guess he wasn't feelin
like doing any chores today!!

Trev loves to get his face painted. He tells
me his vision and I paint away!!

On this day, Trev thought it would be
a good idea to put stickers all over
his face.

But then after having to pull them all off he
decided it wasn't such a good idea after all.

Cruz found bubba's boxers and thought
they would be a great teether!!

The white is a football chin strap, the star is
for the cowboys, and he wanted hogs written on his
forehead

After bath one night T tried on daddy's shirt.
Looks pretty handsome if I must say so myself!

Diggin in the dirt!!!

Daddy just loves it when the kids play in the
dirt. No, not really but I do think he's come to
terms with not growing grass here.

The cutest boy EVER!!!!!

The kids have a little tradition at my house
in the summer. They have figured out how to
set up the sprinker themselves. They'll set it
up, strip down to their underwear and play in
the water. I'm pretty sure were the redneck
family on the block??????

Trev accidently pushed the screen out of the
window and thought he was done for. He was
so worried he broke it!! It was so funny!! I told
him "we can fix it buddy". "Oh I can do it momma
I'll fix it". He tried......

and tried then decided he might need
a little help from momma. Silly boy

mud pies

Yes, I helped Trev make mud pies!!
Recipe:
dirt
water
bowl
rolling pen
spoons
First pour your water into the dirt
Then spoon some into your bowl, next stir
the mixture really good until consistent.
shape the mud into pie shape. let set for
a little bit, enjoy!!

Now doesn't that look amazing!!

Trev wore mommy's knee high red
boots to Mimi's house friday. He was
so proud of himself that he could walk
in them. Mi mi said he wore them most
of the day. He called them his cowboy boots.
Um, maybe I should go buy him some?

Summer lovin

My favorite pic of Cruz to date!!!
He makes this face a lot and I finally
caught it on camera. He was tired and
letting me know about it.

Cruz is not a fan of the cold water in the pool.

Trev named his dragon lego.

Not a big fan of the cold water in the pool. Trev
was the same way. My boys think they are too
good for a cold pool, they want it heated. lol I
just keep working with Cruz hoping he will
get use to the cold water and play some more.
He loves water so I'm surprised he doesn't
love the little pool. We still have fun in it though.

Wrestling the dragon.

Cruz absolutely loves his swing!! We swing
every chance we get. I love this baby's sweet
smile and sparkling eyes!!

Trev also loves to swing and his learning
to swing himself. Look at that face!!

I swing with Cruz a lot and he has already
learned to hold on to the swings ropes. He
learns faster than any other baby I've been
around. We both hold on to the swing, he lays
on my chest and we swing the day away.

Trevor's friend Isacc came over to play and
they wound up having a sword fight.

What a life!!!

Tryston came over to play one night
and they stripped down to their under-
wear and got in the sprinkler. A favorite
summer time activity at my house. The
boys came in and put dry clothes on.
This is what Tryston picked out to wear...
a long sleeved Halloween shirt paired with
a pair of jeans, both items being 2 sizes too
small. I laughed every time I looked at him.
I offered to pick him out some clothes that
fit but he insisted on wearing that.

Trevor took mommy on a date to see
Toy Story 3. (mommy gave T money to
buy tickets, lifted him up on the counter
and he told the man what tickets he
wanted) It was the best date. We had
popcorn and coke and m&m's. Trev
even wore his soccer shin guards to the
movies. (He insisted!!)
What a stud!!!

I'm not sure what face he is making but
it's cute. We also had mr. transformer
tag along on the date with us.

Bath time is every day in a house full of boys.
They play in the dirt and mud and water and
are all kinds of stinky by the end of day.

We still love costumes (I can't call it dress up,
thats too girlie) so we play superheros. This day
Trev was Peter Pan!! Well, Peter Pan forgot his
pants and underwear. Whoops

We all need to air out every once in a while right

I jokingly said to daddy one night we need to
hog tie this boy to get him to be still and daddy
took it literally. He tied little Cruz up with some
neck ties (of course he was joking as well)

Daddy tied him up, I got a couple of pics and we
freed the hog. It was so funny, Cruz actually
was laughing- at first. lol

Out to eat at Orange Mango!!
One VERY HOT night we decided to take
the boys to eat ice cream. You can tell on
their faces they loved it!!

swim lessons

My friends, The Heafners, are some
amazing people. They are so sweet and are
a family full of swimmers!! They all love to
swim. They do swim lessons at their house in
June. They invited my boys to come!! I missed
sign ups so they found a spot and put us there.
They are the best swim lessons in NWA!! Really,
I heard so many of the moms at practice tell
me their testimonies. I wouldn't want my boys
anywhere else.

First day of swim class. Trevor was put with
Jennifer and Brandon had Cruz.
They are amazing kids.

They taught them to blow bubbles..

Cruz had a blast with Brandon for the
first week of class but the second week
he wanted to nap at the time of class so
he was a little fussy and I got him out of
the pool. But he even would blow bubbles in the
pool by the end of the first week.

Splish splash

they learned how to do the spiderman
crawl. They would hold on to the side of
the wall and crawl around the other set of
steps.

Having so much fun!!

by the end of lessons Trev was
the only one in his age group to
move up into the older class. So proud!!
He would "timber" dive, into the pool and
swim to the teacher. It wasn't a far distance but
he was swimming all by himself!! They did such
a great job with all the kids and we will be back
every summer!!!!

Fun, adventurous, outgoing, busy

These are just a few words to describe you!
You really are so much fun!!! You are never
still even when you are sleeping. You want to
check everything out (the good and the bad)
You are a little curious george. You are very
chatty. You talk and talk. You love to hear
yourself and you challenge yourself to repeat
what we say. You love your brother. You taught
him some good lessons by biting him. He doesn't
pester you near as much therefore you haven't
bitten him in a while. You boys play and get along
pretty well!! You never go play in your room you
head straight for his room. It's much more
interesting in there. You are very fast!!! You can
crawl around this house and have it torn upside
down before i can say Cruz!!! Believe it or not
I sweat trying to keep up with you. You just
cut your 5th and 6th little teethers. in just about
six weeks you cut 6 teeth. Poor little guy!
You still like your bottle especially before you
sleep and you love, love fruit. When I feed you
veggies you gag so I have started mixing your
veggies with some fruit to get you to eat it. You
are very good at expressing exactly what you
want. You like your puffs, cheerios and little
crunchies to snack on. I haven't tried much else
yet. You are the biggest blessing and are the
perfect fit in our family. We love you!!

9 month stats:

Height- 31 "
95th percentile

Weight- 20 pounds 8 ounces
50th percentile

and Dr. Lovell said you are the most talkative
9 month old he's ever seen!!!
